Dr. Lewis’ academic training is primarily in Church History of the early modern era, especially the Renaissance and the Protestant and Catholic Reformation. Secondary fields include early Christianity and Medieval and Byzantine history. He was a fellow-in-residence for two years at the Institut für europäische Geschichte in Mainz, Germany, and has published in international journals. Dr. Lewis is currently completing a book-length project.
