Dr. Patricia Lyons is the Director of Libraries for St. John's Seminary and Seminary College. With degrees in journalism, the history of religions and library science, Dr. Lyons oversees the theological and religious studies collections. She holds the MA and Ph.D. degrees in history of religions from Princeton University and the MS in library science from Simmons College, Boston. Previously, she has served as Librarian at the Swedenborg School of Religion, Newton, MA; Director of the Graduate Theology Library at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit; and Director of the Library at Hiram College, Hiram, Ohio. She has particular interest and experience in instructional technology, collection development and the planning and design of library buildings.
