The historic St. John’s Seminary is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Camarillo, California.
Please keep in mind that it is a closed campus, but we hold special events and a Springtime Open House throughout the year and we hope you will join us.

St. John’s Seminary is located in Ventura County, in the city of Camarillo, approximately 55 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
From Los Angeles
Take the Ventura Freeway (101) West and North to Camarillo. Exit at the Flynn Road off ramp. At the traffic light proceed straight on Flynn Road. Follow Flynn Road to the end. Turn right on Upland Road, make a left onto Seminary Road and follow the driveway. Follow the instructions posted at the kiosk to gain entrance to the campus.
From Santa Barbara
Take the Ventura Freeway (101) South to Camarillo. Exit at the Lewis Road off ramp. Turn left at the off ramp light, Ventura Boulevard. Turn left on Lewis Road. Proceed on Lewis Road (34) to the third traffic light, Las Posas/Upland Road. Turn right onto Upland Road, make a left onto Seminary Road and follow the driveway. Follow the instructions posted at the kiosk to gain entrance to the campus.
From the San Fernando Valley
Take the Ronald Reagan Freeway (118) West to Moorpark. Exit at Los Angeles Avenue (West) off ramp. Continue on Los Angeles Avenue (118) through Moorpark. The last 8 miles to the Somis turnoff will be a 2-lane highway. At the intersection of 118 and Somis Road (Highway 34) there is a traffic light. Turn left on Somis Road (34) and continue on it for about 2 miles to the intersection of Las Posas/Upland Road. Turn left on Upland Road, make a left onto Seminary Road and follow the driveway. Follow the instructions posted at the kiosk to gain entrance to the campus.
